Review for Cambridge Conservatory of MusicI would like to recommend James Brown and The Cambridge Conservatory of Music for anyone that would like to learn the Guitar, Piano, Violin, Voice or Drums.My two daughters aged 14, 9 and me aged 47 were looking to learn the guitar. We wanted to do it as a FAMILY and found James kind enough to teach all 3 at the same time in the same room. He did it with equal attention to each of us and made sure we were all on the same page, or should I say same CHORD! His simple step instructions made the learning easy and comfortable. His patience and talent made it an enjoyable experience and wanted us to excel at playing the guitar. There is no commercial aspect in his instruction, just his personal touch and interest in his students. His love for music and the guitar help you to gain a sense of achievement at the end of lesson. Thanks James for being a wonderful teacher.

I would highly recommend the Cambridge Conservatory of music to students of all ages. My daughter studies voice, piano, drums and guitar at the Conservatory, and loves her lessons! All the teachers at the CCOM are top-notch professionals, who tailor their lessons according to each student, ensuring the lessons are appropriate for the student’s age, abilities and interests, while also making them engaging and fun.As great as all the teachers are, the heart of the CCoM lies with owners James and Jeanette Brown (in addition to being an owner, James is also an incredibly talented musician and a wonderful guitar and drum teacher). James and Jeanette have put a tremendous effort into making the Studio a warm, welcoming and enriching environment. They choose their teachers with great care, take a personal interest in their students, and regularly go above and beyond the call of duty for their students by putting a great deal of time and effort into events such as recitals, that give the students a chance to showcase their skills and growing musical confidence.Regardless of the musical area you want to pursue, I believe that you can’t do better in Waterloo region than the Cambridge Conservatory of Music!
